What We Shoot
Aerial built for the work that lives on the first frame.
Licensed aerial photography and video for the work that lives or dies on the opening shot: real estate and luxury listings, hospitality and resorts, event venues, construction progress, and brand films that need a sense of scale a tripod simply can't give. Stills, cinematic video, or both — delivered color-graded and platform-ready.
Because the same team shoots your ground photography and video, the aerials match the rest of the campaign instead of looking like a bolt-on from a different vendor with a different eye. One look, one color treatment, one story — from eye level to 400 feet.
Compliance
Licensed, insured, and compliant.
Daily Grind Media has been FAA Part 107 certified since 2018, carries $1M in liability coverage, and flies legally across San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties. That matters more than most brands realize: unlicensed drone work over property or people is a real liability, and many venues, resorts, and HOAs require proof of certification and coverage before they'll let a drone leave the ground.
Much of Southern California's coastline and urban core sits in controlled airspace near airports. We pull LAANC authorizations and file flight plans in advance, so the legal and logistical side is handled before shoot day and never becomes the reason a shoot slips.
Real Estate
The five shots that sell a property.
For real estate specifically, the aerials that actually move a listing are consistent: the establishing pull-back that shows the lot and its setting, the neighborhood-context shot, the roofline-and-architecture pass, the amenity highlight (pool, view, frontage), and the golden-hour hero.
We shoot for the outcome — a faster sale at a stronger number — not just footage that looks good on a reel. Each frame earns its place in the listing, the brochure, or the social cut.
Beyond Real Estate
Hospitality, construction, events, and brand films.
Aerial earns its keep well beyond listings. Resorts and hospitality brands use it to sell a sense of place no lobby photo can; construction and development teams use monthly progress flights to document a build and market it before it opens; event venues use it to show scale and setting to the planners deciding where to spend.
And for brand films, an aerial move is often the shot that gives a two-minute piece its sense of ambition — the reveal that tells a viewer this is a serious operation. We plan those moments into the edit from the start, not as an afterthought bolted on in post.
Coverage
Across all four counties.
We fly across San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties — coast to desert, La Jolla to Palm Springs — and pair drone work with our ground photography and video so your entire shoot comes from one team with one look.
That single-team model is the difference between a property package that feels assembled and one that feels directed. When the aerial, the interiors, and the brand film all come from the same crew, the result reads as one piece of work.

04 — FAQ
Common Questions
Are you FAA certified and insured?
Yes. All of our pilots hold active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certifications and we carry $1M in commercial aviation liability insurance on every flight. We also pull airspace authorizations in advance when required.
Can you fly in restricted airspace?
Yes, with advance notice. Many properties in Southern California sit in controlled airspace near airports. We pull LAANC authorizations and file flight plans so legal issues never delay your shoot.
What weather conditions will ground a flight?
Sustained winds above 25 mph, rain, and low visibility ground flights for safety. If weather forces a reschedule, we move the shoot at no additional charge.
